I've written since childhood and every field I've worked in – Social Work, Human Resources and Business Consulting – has involved the written word. A lifechanging medical event forced me to leave my corporate career and focus more on my creative side. Since then, I've published non-fiction titles, short stories, and magazine articles. I also make collages and have combined my love of writing with that practice. I call it Treasure Mapping and you can learn more about it via the link on my site. I take lots of writing courses and when I'm not learning about writing, or actually writing, I run community workshops and teach in writing in the TAFE sector, most recently at VU Polytechnic.
